VanDeliveryApp Privacy Policy (Canada)

1. Scope
This policy describes how MBMT collects, uses and safeguards personal information of customers, providers and ambassadors located in Canada in connection with the VanDeliveryApp platform, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
2. Information we collect
- Account information (name, email, phone, billing address).
- Service information (pickup / drop-off addresses, service selections, quote details).
- Provider-specific information (identity documents, background-check status, vehicle documents, commercial-auto and business-liability insurance documents, references).
- Payment information (processed by our payment providers; MBMT does not store full card numbers).
- Geolocation (with your consent, for matching, dispatch and safety).
- Device and analytics data (browser type, cookies, product usage, referral attribution).
3. How we use it
We use personal information to operate the marketplace, match customers with providers, process payments, verify provider eligibility, communicate service updates, comply with legal obligations and improve the platform.
4. Sharing
We share limited information with providers to perform booked services, with payment processors (Stripe), messaging providers (Resend, Twilio), analytics providers (Google Analytics 4) and geo services (Google Maps) — all under written agreements. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services and meet legal, tax and audit obligations. Legal acceptance records are retained for the life of any related booking plus applicable limitation periods.
