Full-Service Junk Removal & Disposal — Truck and Independent Hauling Crews

From clearing out a garage near North Carolina State University to hauling away debris after a renovation in Cary, our Junk Removal & Disposal marketplace connects you with experienced independent service providers who bring the truck, crew, loading equipment, straps, and disposal expertise needed to clear your space efficiently. One simple booking process covers residential cleanouts, commercial junk hauling, furniture removal, appliance disposal, yard waste pickup, and estate cleanouts throughout the Raleigh–Durham metro area and across North Carolina, with service extending nationwide.

Junk Removal & Disposal handles everything from a single-item furniture pickup in Downtown Raleigh to full basement or attic cleanouts in Apex, Morrisville, Chapel Hill, or Garner. Our independent providers understand the Raleigh–Durham area's unique challenges — navigating tight driveways and mature tree canopies in older neighborhoods, securing loading zone permits downtown, and managing traffic congestion on I-40, I-540, Wade Avenue, and NC-147 during weekday commutes and university move-in periods. Multi-stop hauls are fully supported: clear items from a Research Triangle Park office, pick up yard waste in Durham, and finish with appliance removal near PNC Arena — all on one booking.

Why choose VanDeliveryApp for household goods disposal

Old furniture rots in the basement because hauling it out is a saga: rent a truck, recruit two friends, find a landfill that takes mattresses, hope it does not rain. Junk removal on VanDeliveryApp is the opposite. Tell us what is going, get an upfront price by volume, and a crew comes inside the same day and takes it all away — sorting recyclables, donating usable items, and only sending the rest to landfill.

We come inside, basement and attic included

Most junk-removal services charge extra if items are not already at the curb. Our crews bring it all out themselves — from third-floor walk-ups, finished basements, locked garages, and crawl spaces.

Flat-rate pricing by truck volume

No "we will tell you when we arrive" pricing. Eighth-load, quarter-load, half, three-quarter, full. You pick the volume tier at booking and the price is locked. If the load runs over, you only pay the next tier — never a surprise multiple.

Donate-first, recycle-second, landfill-last

Furniture in usable condition goes to Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Salvation Army, or local refugee resettlement charities. Electronics go to certified e-recyclers. Mattresses go to mattress-recycling depots. We minimise landfill on every load — and you can get a charity tax receipt where applicable.

Same-day pickup in most metros

Junk has a way of becoming urgent. Book before noon and most metros offer same-day pickup, including Saturdays and Sundays.

When people book household goods disposal

Real-world scenarios this service is built for — pick the one closest to yours when you book.

1Estate cleanouts

After a loved one passes, sorting through decades of belongings is overwhelming. We send a respectful crew, separate keep-piles from disposal, and donate or recycle the rest — usually in a single day.

2Tenant move-out cleanouts

Landlords use us to clear out abandoned belongings after a tenant leaves. We document everything with photos for security-deposit records and dispose of it on the same day.

3Basement and garage decluttering

You have not been able to park in the garage in three years. One full-truck booking clears years of accumulation and donates what is still useful.

4Old appliance and mattress disposal

Most municipalities charge $25–$50 per item to take a mattress or appliance at the dump. We bundle pickups so a single $99 booking can clear three or four large items.

Frequently Asked Questions

What items can you dispose of?
We handle furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard waste, general household junk, and more. We cannot accept hazardous materials, chemicals, or biowaste.
Do you recycle or donate items?
Yes! We sort all items and donate usable goods to local charities. Recyclable materials are taken to recycling facilities. Only non-recyclable waste goes to landfill.
Do I need to bring items outside?
No! Your provider's crew comes inside your home or garage to remove items. Just point to what needs to go and they handle the rest.
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is based on the vehicle size needed plus a disposal fee. The disposal fee is 88% of the base vehicle rate. You will see the exact price at checkout before confirming.
Do you charge by item or by load?
Larger jobs are priced by truck-volume (1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full). Single-item pickups have a flat-rate option starting at $59. Whichever applies to your job is shown clearly at booking.
Can you pick up construction debris from a renovation?
Light construction debris (drywall, wood, tile, carpet) is fine. We cannot accept hazardous materials, asbestos, or anything that needs a special-waste hauler licence.
What items can you NOT take?
We cannot accept hazardous materials (paint, solvents, propane tanks, motor oil), biowaste, asbestos, large amounts of construction debris (>1 cubic yard of drywall, concrete, brick), or items containing freon that have not been professionally evacuated. For most of these, we can point you to a licensed local hauler.
Do you provide a tax receipt for donated items?
Where the charity issues receipts (Habitat ReStore, Salvation Army, Goodwill), we forward the receipt to your email after the donation is processed — usually 7–14 days post-pickup. Average household furniture donation receipts come back at $150–$400.
How much can you fit in one truck?
A full sprinter holds about 600 cubic feet — roughly the contents of a fully furnished 1-bedroom apartment. A pickup truck holds about 250 cubic feet. The booking flow shows reference photos for each volume tier so you can match yours.
